Management

Leo Bifulco - President/Owner

Leo first started working in the family business at the age of 14 and continued to work in the company thru his college years until he graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. After a brief stint working for Mobil Oil in Boston as a distribution supervisor, he decided to return to Maine with his wife Cheryl to start and raise a family. After 29 years and four children, he still enjoys and loves working in the Building Services Industry. During that time Benchmark has grown to clean over 1.5 million square feet on a daily basis and they have become a leader in the state for cleaning and maintaining educational facilities in Maine.

Richard Priest - Operations Manager, Central Maine Region

Richard first started working for Benchmark in 1981, starting out as a cleaner at a micro chip producer. He quickly learned the ropes in the cleaning industry and worked his way up to the position of supervisor. He managed a crew of over 20 employees, that were operating 24 hrs. per day seven days per week. After 10 years he decided to leave Benchmark to pursue other interest. He became operations Manager for a cleaning company specializing in hard floor care. In 2000 he came back to Benchmark and has been instrumental in helping the company lead the way in the educational marquee.
